Litigation experience includes acting as general counsel in managing $5 million breach of license agreement that settled on favorable terms after 3 days of trial; Representing Fortune 500 disk drive maker in trade secret litigation; Representing officers and directors in class action securities case; Representing executives in employment disputes over non-compete clauses and termination agreements; representing Fortune 500 company in insurance coverage dispute over fidelity policy; representing contract disk drive litigation between Fortune 100 company and German-based distributor; breach of contract action on software development agreement; and bitter antitrust and unfair competition action between two concrete aggregate suppliers.
Corporate experience includes creating investment LLCs for groups of private investors to buy technology assets; negotiating technology license agreement on behalf of Stanford University professor for sale of technology; drafting technology development agreements on behalf of digital technology start-up; developing and drafting company contracts, including advertising and partnering contracts, as well as content license and freelance agreements for start-up internet content company.
